Armill started as a service based company and has become one of the major players in the materials handling industry within the Essex and Suffolk area. With over thirty years experience in the industry, we can offer solutions to solve any forklift truck problem.
Peter Millar started the business servicing and repairing forklift trucks with Ann Millar his wife handling accounts and customer requirements.
As trucks became uneconomical to repair he was asked to source replacements and the company started to grow. Now Armill employs over seven engineers and has customers among some of the major companies in the area.
In 1998 Armill was awarded the entrepreneurs award, which was voted on by local businesses in conjunction with the Essex County Council.
At Armill we pride ourselves on our approach to after sales care and the quality of work carried out by our team. We feel our refurbished machines are some of the best in the industry and coupled with our extremely competitive pricing, Armill is set to continue forward to be the first choice for fork trucks in East Anglia.
Fork Truck Refurbish
At Armill this is an area of expertise that our competitors find hard to match. All our refurbished machines meet the highest of standards. The trucks are stripped, worn parts identified and replaced, trucks are repainted and new decals fitted.
The forklift when finished has a 10 point check by another engineer to ensure every attention to detail has been met and the truck is ready to be delivered.
Servicing & Maintenance
In order to offer the best possible after sales care and minimize downtime, our mobile engineers are all in radio contact and able to provide a service response time within 4 hours.
Keeping a truck in first class condition makes obvious sense. Not only does it help to ensure you meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, but it reduces downtime...so your truck is more productive...more profitable.
Forklift Hire
Armill are providers of both long and short term forklift hire. Using our in-house finance contracts we can tailor-make them to suit the customers needs. In addition for long term contracts we have a number of finance companies that are offering some of the best rates in the industry today.
