Planning
Whether your project is a new residential property, a commercial or industrial building, mixed-use development or installation of new building services equipment to an existing building, ACA Acoustics will undertake the necessary noise and vibration surveys, assessments and prepare a tailored report suitable to be accepted by the Local Planning Authority in support of your application.
Design
Working independently or alongside the architect and other members of the design team, ACA Acoustics are able to provide a detailed design service for your development. Typical examples include specification of glazing and facade elements to control external noise intrusion, specification of partition construction to comply with Building Regulations Approved Document E for residential projects or client requirements for office/commercial developments, consideration of internal surface finishes to improve reverberation times and speech intelligibility within rooms or design of noise and vibration control measures for mechanical services equipment to achieve required limits.
ACA Acoustics are also able to carry out assessments to ensure compliance with BREEAM for new developments.
Testing
ACA Acoustics undertake noise and vibration surveys from attended measurements to demonstrate compliance with planning, project or licensing criteria through to long term monitoring. All surveys are carried out using state-of-the-art UKAS calibrated equipment.
